Google Announced Android 11 R Release Schedule

Google finally announced the Android 11 /Android R release schedule. The first Android 11 preview build for developers of released on February 2020. This was for supported Google Pixel smartphones (excluding the first-generation). The coronavirus pandemic affected future OS releases and performances. Many partners asked to share any news and updates regarding the schedule, and finally, it was done.

Google LLC shared two key milestones that are based on the current status and the progress of Android 11 development.

• Final Release Candidate (FRC) will be released on July 6, 2020.

• Public Android Open Source Project (AOSP) will be released on September 8, 2020.

Google LLC still did not share the Android 10 closing date, and when We will immediately inform you when this information will be received.

Android 11 /Android R comes with a new "recent apps" UI and the ability to undo an inadvertent closing of a recent app. Android 11 features include support of 5G networking standards, enhancements for foldable smartphones, project mainline (servicing of system components via Google Play Store); it also supports STIR/SHAKEN call authentication and stronger enforcement of the "scoped storage" system.
