Some time ago, Google informed that Android 7.0 Nougat certification will be closed before 31st of March 2018. It means each company, which is planning to get the GMS approval and certification for Android 7.0 & 7.1 devices, should send the inquiry no later than the first half of March 2018.
Please kindly be informed that the GMS certification can take about 30 days but the entire registration period depends on the Google’s special requirements during the approval. Sometimes, terms can be shortened up to 14 days.
