2020 Lunar New Year is Coming

Tomorrow Chinese people celebrate a New Year, based on the Lunar Calendar. The traditional holiday, also called Spring Festival, falls on January 25th in 2020 according to the Gregorian Calendar. It is considered to be the major, national holiday for the Chinese population and its celebration spreads widely among the neighbouring regions. During the Chinese New Year celebration, the great parade welcomes visitors with the national decorations in red, impressive fireworks display, troupes of acrobats, jugglers, marching bands, lively dragons and Chinese lions. 

2020 is a year of Rat, and its images can be viewed on the houses, offices and streets decorations. Chinese people advise to put on the red clothes for celebrations to make this smart and cunning animal happy.
